Conceptual design and detail design for new central park area, with dialogue- and co-creation processes. The old park area is planned to be refurbished and the new project presents a well thought out design with a new array of functions answering to a wider group of users. Core functions and structure is preserved, and new additions are integrated, creating interesting meetings in the new intersections. The project focuses on activity, park qualities with trees and planting areas and the design addresses the issue of downpours and water, detaining and delaying substantial volumes within the park. Skateboarding is a main theme in the eastern part of the park, where a seamlessly integrated skatepark and skate-area is placed. The park is completed with bespoke features like a weather sealed roof-structure as well as furniture an hang out spots. All the design is modelled in 3D, both during conceptual stages and detail design.
