Berguven

In the residential area Uggledal in western Gothenburg, the new preschool Berguven opened in 2021 and the yard has been designed by MARELD landscape architects. The plot is surrounded by beautiful pines and new, exciting architecture but was in itself completely cleared of vegetation and other desirable features. Creating green, nature-like places on the yard has therefore been a major challenge in the project. In addition to a rich vegetation, we wanted to create a varied and complex yard, among other things with the help of varying topography such as hills and slopes, a variety of soil materials and equipment and different types of spaciousness to meet different types of needs.
