Fristad activity park.
As spring begins to show itself again, we wanted to look back on a sunny day in Borås last autumn, when Borås Skateboardförening hosted an informal opening of Fristad Skatepark. The event was a great opportunity to celebrate the park in an open, inclusive way—together with everyone who helped shape it through the co-design process. Skaters, scooter riders, and BMX riders of all ages showed just how thoughtfully the park has been planned and designed.
Borås Stad will officially open the park in spring 2026. Watch this space!
