View over the new arena 
Our proposal has won the competition for Kungsbacka’s new arena! The arena will be called Kronan and will crown the city’s skyline.
The building will provide a distinct identity for the city. Prior to events, it will be illuminated, signaling the start of the festivities! It will become a destination for both visitors and residents, creating a lively and secure area where the arena’s commercial ground floors will offer year-round activity. The new arena square will be accessible every day, in every season, and for everyone. The square’s versatility will allow for everyday life and events that are connected to the entire neighborhood.
To top it all off, there has been fantastic Scandinavian teamwork between Semrén & Månsson (SE), Hille Melbye Arkitekter (NO), Mareld Landscape Architects (SE/DK), and VBK.
