When MARELD began developing an initial concept for a masterplan for sub-area 1A in spring 2023, the consortium had already developed a masterplan for the wider area, together with a vision and six strategic objectives. A key aim of the commission was to translate this vision into the masterplan, while making the most of the qualities of the site and its existing natural landscape. The landscape is intended to become a defining feature and an important part of the identity of the new urban structure.<\/p>\n<figure itemscope itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/ImageObject\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mareldarkitektur.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/platser-och-strak-01_landvetter-sodra-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Underlagskarta\" height=\"1810\" width=\"2560\" title=\"Underlagskarta\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\n\t<\/figure>\n<figure itemscope itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/ImageObject\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mareldarkitektur.se\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Diagram_Upplevelsevarden-03-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Diagram_Upplevelsev\u00e4rden-03\" height=\"1870\" width=\"2560\" title=\"Diagram_Upplevelsev\u00e4rden-03\" onerror=\"this.style.display='none'\" loading=\"lazy\" \/>\n\t\t<figcaption>Landscape value analysis<\/figcaption>\n\t<\/figure>\n\t<p>In autumn 2023, MARELD continued the work with a more detailed study of a smaller area, Norra Berget, as input to the subsequent detailed planning process. During summer and autumn 2024, MARELD developed a landscape value analysis covering the entire area. The analysis provides guidance on the qualities and values found in this particular landscape and how they can be addressed and preserved as the area develops.<\/p>\n<p>Landvetter S\u00f6dra will be developed within a rich natural landscape, creating exceptional conditions for a high quality of life with direct access to a varied natural environment of forests and lakes.
