As a part of Fristads new Stationspark, MARELD are commissioned to work on a skatepark solution integrated with a well-established pine tree woodland.
To test the design and understand the flow and proportions of the space we explored ideas through physical modelling. The model is a scaled representation of the project which includes many 3D printed parts, geometries, and details. It was also a very rewarding process in that it allowed to adjust and adapt ideas prior to the physical reality of a constructed project!
The project is due to be built this year, where MARELD will continue to support the client through the forthcoming project stages – tendering, construction, and management.
